Movegreen was formed by two friends, Erik Haney and Patrick Wilkinson, with one goal in mind... to revolutionize the moving and storage industry. Erik and Patrick met in high school in Bend, Oregon and were separated after Patrick left his senior year to live in Cayucos, CA. It was not until 8 years later in 2007 that these two friends were reunited in downtown Santa Barbara. At this time Patrick owned two Pita Pit franchises and Erik was running a successful moving business called Santa Barbara Student Movers. With Patrick’s ‘green’ business vision and Erik’s industry experience, they decided to go into business together; from this partnership Movegreen was born!

Two short years later they went from a small, local mover to a company able to move any size shipment to any part of the world.  They have won numerous awards and honors in recognition of their green minded company and for their outstanding services. Most recently, Movegreen was voted #1 Moving Company in Santa Barbara County for 2009-2010. Movegreen is a full-service moving and storage company based in Santa Barbara, California and is an agent of Stevens Worldwide Van Lines.
