March 2013: Voted Best Moving Company in Santa Barbara
BOOOM!! It never gets old winning awards and we did it again, this time it was the Reader’s Choice Awards through the Santa Barbara News-Press. Last year we were just runners up, but we stepped up our game and claimed the title yet again!
October 2012: Second Annual Movegreen Futures Golf Tournament
Our Second Annual Golf Tournament was even more of a success than the first one. This time we were able to raise over $70,000 for the Teacher’s Fund with some HUGE help from Village Properties, Cox Communications and others. It was an amazing day with a full schedule of golf, pampering for the non golfers and a hugely successful silent auction. We will be sure to continue this tradition in the future and look forward to raising even more money for the Teacher’s Fund.
October 2012: Voted Best Mover in Santa Barbara
Nailed it!!! We did it again Santa Barbara. That is 3 out of the last 4 years, we have won BEST Moving Company in Santa Barbara. Its been a tough a year with lots of growing pains, but as our fleet grows and our staff increases by 30% we will continue to put you the customer as #1. We look forward to serving all the great Santa Barbarians in the future!

it like we did the last year, we did place a close second beating out 7 other local moving companies. We’ve had a wildly successful 2011 and will continue to improve our company, our service and our commitment to you the customer. We look forward to serving all the great Santa Barbarians in the future!
October 2011: First Annual Movegreen Futures Golf Tournament
Movegreen put on its first ever golf tournament and it was a huge success. Movegreen was able to raise almost $47,000 for the Teacher’s Fund, a local non-profit that gives to local teacher’s and their classrooms. It was a great day with a full schedule of golf, pampering for the non golfers and a hugely successful silent auction. Boom! It’s official, voted the Best Mover of Santa Barbara for 2010. The Santa Barbara Independent Reader’s Poll tallied the votes and we won….again. It feels good know the wonderful citizens of beautiful Santa Barbara feel the same way we feel about them. Looking forward to an bright future.

As Winter breaks and Spring is upon us, it appears the sun is shining directly on Movegreen! We were “this close” to being voted the Best Moving Company in the Santa Barbara News-Press Reader’s Choice Awards. We are only a few years in and our focus on customer service has caught the eye of the Santa Barbara Community. We will keep up the good work and will keep our eye on the big prize!
October 2009: Best Mover in Santa Barbara
Thank you Santa Barbara! We have been working our tail off (literally) to make sure our clients are having the best relocation experience ever and it shows! Being voted the Best Mover in Santa Barbara in the SB Independent Reader’s Poll is awesome. This is the award that people look for every year and we won it our second year in business. This is no easy task! We promise to keep our focus on you..the customer!
April 2009: Green Business of Santa Barbara
Pacific Coast Business Times featured Movegreen in the Green Coast edition of the weekly business paper. We do all sorts of things to be green but the most notable is that we plant 10 Trees for Every Move! This is done through our non-profit affiliate Trees for the Future. We also run our trucks on biodiesel, reuse and recycle all our boxes and provide paperless quotes and contracts!
January 2009: Won Green Award
It happens once a year during the coldest month, when the leaves have fallen and the sky is grey. The Green Awards are given out by Central Coast Magazine. And for this year we did it, we won the Green Award! It is our first big award and we are proud to show it off. We’ve done a lot to ensure our operation is as sustainable as possible and look forward to making it even better in the future!
March 2008: Green Business of the Week
The Santa Barbara Independent decided to feature Movegreen as the Green Business of the Week! Movegreen is only a few months old and are already being recognized in the community! Movegreen is proud to be the first environmentally friendly moving and storage company in Santa Barbara and one of two in California! We will continue to be the best we can be and look forward to growing this awesome community.
March 2008: Thinking Out of the Box
Movegreen is the featured story on the front page of the Sunday business section in the Santa Barbara News-Press. We are doing good things and are in the midst of changing the age-old moving industry by bringing it into the sustainable 21st century. We won’t let you down Santa Barbara.
